Fragrance Diffuser
What is a natural fragrance?
The fragrance does not contain any chemical compounds or synthetic origin found in "conventional" fragrances which always uses chemical and artificial fixatives. It is instead composed only of raw materials of natural origin.
The alcohol comes from plants (eg wheat), as well as the solvents. The perfume composition is a mixture of natural odorants such as pure essential oils. The real active ingredients are beneficial and used in aromatherpy, in particular to regulate mood and emotions. For example, linalool, naturally present in the essential oils like orange blossom, lavender, coriander, basil, is known for its soothing and relaxing properties.
terre d’Oc natural fragrance capilla diffuser can be arranged aesthetically with the rattan stems and a spiral stem. The stems absorb the fragrance through a system of capillarity and distil it day after day into the air. For a gentler, slower diffusion, use only a few stems.
In order to conserve the environment, terre d’Oc did not use wild and endangered rattan. Since 2007 terre d’Oc chose to plant rattan and only use cultivated rattan grown without fertilizers or pesticides. It is a sustainable partnership with Mekong Plus, a Vietnamese NGO: terre d’Oc guarantees producers a fair pay and decent working conditions.
Rattan pith from rattan core is used for its high capillary action. It has tiny hollow tubes which absorb the natural fragrance and diffuse it into the atmosphere.
