terre d’Oc have partnerships NGOs in Vietnam and have been developing incense, rattan and bamboo workshops since 2006 in the most underprivileged areas of the country. Families work for a fair pay in a real sustainable development project. We focus on quality, safety, biodiversity and improving working conditions. This means the women can work at home in good conditions and look after their children. All our productions are made only with natural ingredients and ecological processing.
Every year incense trees and rattans are planted to protect the environment and allow a sustainable management of natural resources so that in the long-term they can be self-sufficient for the consumption of the raw materials needed to make our products.
terre d’oc finances these projects entirely: infrastructures, health insurance for workers, training and scholarships. A real partnership based on sustainable development, transparency and the ethics agreed on between terre d’oc and the Vietnamese producers allow us to offer very high quality products bearing the «solidarity trade – sustainable development» indication.
