One of his servants had the brilliant idea of adding a slice of bergamot to set off the flavour of the black tea. Earl Grey was absolutely enchanted by the exquisite taste and the originality of the brew and he popularized the recipe. Earl Grey tea become one of the most widely drunk teas in the world! A lovely recipe where the strength of the black tea blends with the powerful and zesty notes of bergamot and the added beauty of flowers petals.
Brewing Suggestion
1. Water temperature at 90°C.
2. 2g of tea leaf per 250ml water.
3. Steep for 4 minutes.
