In China, jasmine tea (Mo Li Hua Cha), is said to be the oldest of the flower teas and to have been made under the Song imperial dynasty (960-1279). Mo Li Hua Cha is made following the thousand-year old method, the green tea leaves are mixed with fresh jasmine flowers to give them their fragrance and the petals are then removed one by one by hand so as to not lend bitterness to the brew. A wonderful green tea with a subtle, refined fragrance of jasmine flowers!
1. Water temperature at 75-80°C.
2. 2g of tea leaf per 250ml water.
3. Steep for 3 minutes.
