Organic Japanese Matcha Sencha Green tea

Blend of green Sencha tea & Matcha powder. Introduced to Japan by Buddhist monks, matcha is traditionally used for the tea ceremony. Three weeks before the leaves are harvested, the tea trees are shaded in order to allow them to develop silky, milky aromas.
Reduced to a fine powder, the matcha is mixed with the Sencha tea needles, to give a full-bodied and gentle liquor that the Japanese call umami (savoury).
1. Water temperature at 70-80°C.
2. 2g of tea leaf per 250ml water.
3. Steep for 2-3 minutes.
